Service Description

The ATM Saphir 250 A1 Eco Polishing Machine is an automated polishing machine capable of polishing 5 samples simultaneously or 1 sample individually. This is also equipped with a dosing-unit to charge the appropriate polishing colloids. There is no usage cost within IIT or for academic institutions, however, people who are interested to use are requested to get their own consumables, i.e. abrasive papers, polishing colloids etc. A humble request is to make a reservation, contact trained users at our group and please fill in the logbook after use. *Should you succeed with your experiments and obtain publishable results, kindly acknowledge the user who helped you and SERB ECR grant# ECR/2017/002628
